1. Yes, when wet, it does feel like a wet towel. The good this is, you will obviously see the dry parts of the towel and use that dry portion. Try that on a regular towel. I did it with my white regular towel and it can not happen.
2. Yes it does not give you the warm, hugging you feeling when you wrap it around yourself just like a regular towel would. But I accept this.
3. It does dry fast, no stinky smell, no commercial or “technical” smell.
I think it’s great especially for travelers like me. At home, I still go with regular towels. Btw, I say get Large as minimum. I was indecisive to get the Medium. I’m happy I got the Large for it’s similar size to a regular towel. I think anything smaller is too small. I think a Medium will be hard to wrap and keep around your waist.

- Great product and well worth the expense. This is a generously sized towel that is both lightweight and compact. The folded size is slightly larger than a high quality washcloth folded square. If you’re looking for a great towel that won’t take up much packing space, look no further. The XL size towel is roughly the same size as a beach towel. I’ve purchased four of the Micronet Towels in both Large and Extra Large sizes and have been incredibly impressed at their durability and shape/size retention… even after a year of daily use and regular laundering.
Rating: 5 / 5 - This towel is very light and compact, yet large. It’s not very pleasant to use, being very thin and ‘sticky’ but will dry you off after a shower or swim and dries quickly. The mesh stuff sack is nice too. Also bought an Aquis crepe towel which feels much more like a real towel but is more than twice as bulky. I’ll probably use the Aquis for traveling and save this one for backpacking and emergencies.
Rating: 4 / 5 - I bought this towel to take to the gym with me. I do a lot of bikram yoga and carrying all the towels/mat/and change of clothes gets a bit cumbersome so I was looking for ways to down size. This towel takes up almost no space in my gym bag, but is sufficient for drying my body and hair after the shower… it’s not the most comfy towel, but it’s hardly rough or scratchy either and it gets the job done.
Rating: 4 / 5 - I have this and the large size. The large size is about the size o a normal bath towel and the extra large an oversized oned. Both work great. They are very thin and fold up to only take up maybe 20% of the space of an ordinary towel, if even that. They will dry you off as quickly as a normal towel, they just won’t warm you. They dry out very quickly both hung dry and in the dryer.
Edit: 6 months later and these are holding up well. I have two that I personally use and they are getting washed after every two uses. They look the same as the day I received them. After switching the whole house to these, I have noticed a big difference in the dryer times and gas I am using. Would still recommend.

This is a very thin waterproof windbreaker. I thought that it would be warm, but it was just for rain.

This jacket is just as described. It is a light-weight, well constructed, truly waterproof jacket with lots of great features, at a fabulous price. The previous reviewer rated this based on their expectations, apparently without reading the description.

I purchased this jacket to replace a yellow pullover that had ceased to be waterproof after five years. I prefer keeping a lightweight rain jacket in my bag to carrying an umbrella. I am very pleased. It is exactly as depicted. I got the “New Moon” color and is is a very slightly lime tinged yellow. Visibility is a good thing on a bike and this color is visible. Three zippered pockets will hold everything I need. The hood folds into the collar. A well-made jacket that will probably give me a few years of good service. Longer in back for cycling. Nice bag to keep it in. Exactly what I was looking for.

I took this as my ONLY baggage on a 4+ day trip hiking, rock climbing, kayaking and caving adventure to Alabama and it was excellent – worked well in the tent and has pockets that fit a Coleman camp stove and propane bottle plus clothing, shoes, ext., ext…..

I decided to get this bag (the CUSCUS 120L) a few months after buying their 88L model – I liked the 88L & thought that this bag would be about 30% larger (120/88=1.36). To my utter and profound astonishment and dismay (and horror, and disgust), when it arrived I found out that it is NOT a 120 liter bag. I laid the new 120L on top of my 88L (both empty) and the 120L is slightly smaller than the 88L model.I’m not sure how a company (CUSCUS apparently) is able to market two nearly identical bags in such a manner: the stitching on the sleeping bag compartment and the product name clearly imply that these bags are a different size, to say nothing of the product claims on both Amazon (by Adventurer’s Bag) and CUSCUS’s own site ([...]) where the 120L is described as being 23″(L) x 13″(W) x 34″(H) [note: if these were accurate measurements then the bag would be 10166ci - they only claim 8100ci for some reason, even though that would still require the bag to be over 18 inches deep, the W&H measurements seem accurate]
Here’s the kicker: the 120L came with a nice little tag on it describing the bag, the tag says the product dimensions are 36.5×23.5x73cm (this is just slightly less than 63 liters).
I was (eventually) able to get a full (cost+shipping) refund from Adventurer’s Bag, however they have failed to update their listing for this bag as I requested, so I’m writing this review to help Amazon customers make an informed decision.
Backpack buyers beware! Size specifications are “estimates” and can vary widely between manufacturers, unfortunately it appears that CUSCUS has abused this fact to falsely advertise one of it’s products.
Summary:
CUSCUS 120L: sturdy, simple, cheap backpack. Approximately 80L in actual volume. Comes with “A reinforced handle at back for better holding” and a flimsy “FREE” rain cover.CUSCUS 88L: sturdy, simple, cheap backpack. Approximately 80L in actual volume (slightly larger than the 120L). Nine (9) dollars cheaper when i ordered (though you still pay the outrageous shipping) – Spend less, get more.
