I bought this bag for my wife and I to sleep in and it worked well for both of us sleeping in relatively warm weather. For this purpose, it worked well. I used it alone on a night that got down to about 36 degrees, and I was cold, so the 35 degree rating is an absolute minimum. I also expected to be able to separate it to use it as a single-wide in colder weather, but found I couldn’t do so the way the zippers are designed (-1 star). Finally, there is no stuff sack included, and I haven’t found one yet that’s long enough to contain the width (-1 star).
