I shopped around for a pack for quite a while that was both light, could be contained and had a decent hydration pack. This pack has all I need and more, both plenty of cargo room, but does not need to flop around when empty. It fits well and has amazing straps. It's got three outer pockets that serve well when you need something small, like a little cash or sunglasses but don't want to dig.

The price was great too!

The only problem was the shipping. Instead of shipping early or in the middle of its shipping period it shipped on what was probably the last possible day. This is not a problem, but be aware when working with this company (bike somewhere) that if your item needs to arrive in a timely manner, order two weeks early!

I was looking for a pack for Adventure Racing, and being new to the sport I was looking for a multi use pack. This Pack is great fo day hikes and alike,,, it is very light weight and comfortabe. With the added storage for daily use items,,,I have carried a cammera along with some extra clothing and food items along with plenty of water for the day. With the botttom staps the pack stays in place and has 2 small zippered pouches for keys. cell phone or munchies. All in All i really would recomend this pack for first time buyers

I probably shouldn't have ordered this pack from Amazon so I could've gotten a better idea of how much fits in it.
I ride my bike home about 15miles every day from work.
At the end of the day I pull my biking gear out of the pack and put my working clothes in.

It is always a tight fit but it always fits.
So dress slacks, undershirt, button up, boxers, socks, belt and some dress shoes (size 13), all fit, very snug. And yes thats with the resevoir full.

Personally I could've used just a bit more space but I'm not crying.

Down to it, I love this pack, it's sturdy, it's compact, comfortable, has nice straps and ties for excess cords and compresses to lie even closer to your back for those who wont carry much more than some light equipment.
The side pockets are one of the best features ever, keys, wallet, cell phone and mp3 player are right at my sides and easily accessible, but back enough to be out of the way, brilliant.

If I wasn't carrying my clothes I could carry my camera, lenses and probably just strap my tripod to the back of it or have the top of the tripod sticking out of the pack.
It's kinda sporty looking but I dont mind that at all.

It holds plenty of water for my ride which is under an hour, even when it's 90+ farenheight outside and I'm guzzling it down.

I'd recommend getting the cleaning kit or at least the tablets for it to keep you from getting scratchy throat, matter of fact even if you get a different camelbak the tablets work really well for cleaning without leftover taste or residue.

For light loads this is a great backpack.
